Additionally, there is a charming Stabbur (small traditional Norwegian house) on the property with two sleeping spaces and electricity.

Right outside the cabin door, you'll find miles of ski trails, several ski slopes, a toboggan run, biking trails, wonderful hiking terrain, and beautiful mountain peaks. Within walking distance from the cabin, you'll also find the Storefjell Resort hotel with a restaurant, shop, entertainment, piano bar, and water park. Additionally, there are several great fishing lakes and swimming spots nearby.

Storefjellstølen boasts a beautiful location at the top of Golsfjellet, 1028 meters above sea level. Here, you can enjoy the fresh mountain air, plenty of sunshine, and magnificent views. The area is surrounded by beautiful and easily accessible mountain terrain, charming cultural landscapes, old mountain farms still in operation where animals graze both in the fields and the surrounding areas, delightful cranberry bogs, and cozy forests, not to mention a wealth of fantastic hiking and biking trails. Additionally, the area offers plenty of other experiences throughout the year for both adults and children, with ski slopes and toboggan runs as close neighbors, hotels, and various activities and events.

Golsfjellet offers miles of high-quality cross-country ski trails. The trails are groomed several times a week. Throughout the cross-country ski network on Golsfjellet, there are barbecue huts, which are natural destinations for families. Have a great hike!
