Animal Experiences

Take your children and experience our animals up close. Visit our tough, kind Highland cattle and the horses on the farm. In the summer, you can meet sheep, cows, and mountain pigs on the mountain. And once you're up in the mountains, it's not uncommon to come across foxes, hares, grouse, ptarmigans, lemmings, Arctic foxes, falcons, and owls. If you're extra lucky, you might even spot the golden eagle from Hemsedal soaring over your heads.
